Wugga Workbench privacy notice

Effective . Operator: Cameron Edwards, trading as Wugga Computing.

Information accessed

With the owner’s consent, Workbench accesses the Wugga mailbox profile, message identifiers, thread identifiers, sender and recipient metadata, subjects, snippets and attachment filenames. When checking an uncertain send, it may read the complete matching sent message and attachments to compare them with the approved email.

How information is used

Mailbox access supports customer correspondence, reply and opt-out detection, cancellation handling, payment-proof indicators and duplicate-send prevention. Workbench sends the messages and PDF attachments prepared in the local client workspace. It does not send marketing from customers’ accounts.

Where information is stored

Client records, matched email summaries, quotations, invoices and audit records are held in a local SQLite database and local backups on the operator’s computer. OAuth credentials are stored separately using Windows user-bound encryption. The database and backups are not themselves encrypted by Workbench.

Service providers and sharing

Google processes the connected Gmail requests. Cloudflare hosts the public company pages, customer previews and payment portal; that service stores preview content, invoice references and amounts, payment confirmations and cancellation events. Payfast processes payments submitted through its own checkout. Workbench does not collect card details. Gmail tokens and mailbox contents are not sent to the hosted preview/payment service or the website-building model. Only selected public business facts and assets are supplied to the website builder.

Google user data

Wugga Workbench’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used for the described correspondence workflow, not sold, used for advertising or sent to an AI model for training.

Access and retention

Access is limited to the operator’s local Windows environment and the connected services needed for the stated functions. Records and backups remain until the operator deletes or archives them; Workbench does not automatically erase financial or correspondence history. Removing Google access stops future authorised API access but does not erase existing local records or backups.

Your choices and contact

The owner can revoke Wugga Workbench’s access through Google Account → Security → connections to third-party apps and services. Customers may ask questions, request correction or deletion of their information, or ask Wugga to stop contacting them by emailing wuggacomputing@gmail.com. Requests are reviewed by the operator, including any records that must be retained for accounting or legal reasons.
